I Don’t Know but me my husband went strait through INS to file for his citizenship i think a lawyer charges too much i know my husband hes from guatemala but ins told him hes been here in the US for over a year that he would have to go back to guatemala to finish the process he had to go for 6-9 months we started the paper processing in 2006 and in 2007 they told him they were finished and ready to do the final processing which would take place in Guatemala but we were there and were back and it didn’t cost hardley anything money wise but time it did but we wasn’t in no rush but if your not in a hurry you should maybe try that
That’s a tough question and involves many factors: cost, experience, personality, availability. You just have to interview a few and see how responsive he or she is. You can always to to the USCIS website for basic information, http://www.uscis.gov, so you get a head start. If you decide to do it yourself, check out sample forms at http://www.sampleimmigrationforms.com
Hello you can checkout http://www.splcenter.org. This is the website of Immigrations Lawyers. And I don’t think they charge anything if they win your case. they have also won lots and lots of cases. Author, Eddie Smith
You can also use a visa processor to get the same results for less. Check out http://www.ezvisa.us
