What would an immigration attorney charge to help with the renewal of a Permanent Resident card?
I’m just looking for offshore pharmacies a ballpark figure, and only from someone who has actual experience with this.
My stepson’s Permanent Resident card came up for renewal, and USCIS dragged their feet on it because of a couple of minor law infractions from five years ago. Rather than hire an attorney, I handled the whole situation myself, enlisting the help of a US Senator along the way. I made phone calls; wrote letters, faxes & emails; filled out forms; and made two roundtrips to another city (1.5 hours away) where there is a USCIS service center.
Ultimately I succeeded, and now the new card is being processed.
My stepson doesn’t think what I did for him is any big deal, so I’d just like to know approximately what an Immigration Attorney would have charged for what I did for free.

My sister in law had to use an immigation attorney to get her status resolved back in 1988. Back then, it cost her $12,000.00. Probably double that today.
i know what i would charge my clients, but i’m reluctant to discuss it here.
it sounds like you’re good at this–have you considered law school or trying to get a job in a law firm that handles immigration cases?
