The US Department of State(DOS) made the priority dates current for clearing the path towards US Citizenship for well qualified, deserving legal (not typo) immigrants. However, the USCIS approved approximately 60k cases in 2 weeks (Previously it approved 60k cases in 6 months) to pull the plug on the 2nd of July, 2007. Please rate this video so that the news of this injustice reaches to people who are in a position to do what is right.

It takes 5-6 years for an indian to get a Green card where as it takes less then 2 yrs for a mexican.
Its a quota based system and mexico is on a much faster lane than india

The U.S. is not legally required to issue or extend a single H-1B visa. The USCIS states that H-1B visas are a 3 year visa (total stay limited to 6 years) for temporary, nonimmigrant workers. These workers are to fill specialty positions when this talent cannot be secured from the local labor pool. Employers are not required to advertise the positions and are given a legal means to discriminate against U.S. workers. Right now, we should not issue and not renew another H-1B visa.
It looks like only Indians get visas and get an express lane.
I don’t blame Mexicans because they share border and they go into hard labor and many of them joined the army.

I think the cocky ones you are thinking about are the actual mexican-American citizens that join gangs. The illegal mexicans I see are quiet and all they do is work and have lower crime rate as a group than actual citizens.
If you want to stop immigration, stop buying from companies like Microsoft, Dell, Walmart etc that employ foreign or immigrant workers. When their sales dip to record lows, maybe they’ll start batting for the American people again. I won’t shop at Walmart, Homedepot, McDonalds, or anyone else caught using cheap labor over American labor. And, I use linux, not Windows and I use free word processing software, not office. Screw them all for being traders.
