I can’t believe this song is actually about 6 or 7 years old itself, so it’s an old song that is about even older nostalgia. But I had never heard it before, so I was shocked to find out it came out in late 2002.

not vinyl, they were made of nylon parachute material thus the name parachute pants….although they were shiny like vinyl.
