Is there such a specialty as “passport attorney” or would this be an immigration attorney?

Who should be consulted for problems obtaining a passport in this country? I am writing for someone who is a natural born citizen, but because of lapse of identification is having a problem getting a passport. Who should be consulted for legal assistance with this problem?
This is in the U.S.A.

I would do a search on the site below. Look at a few websites and start calling around.
depends on the country. In US i beleive that immigration attorney also doubles as a passport attorney.
rather than consult an attorney, assuming that the request for additional information from the state department was followed and has not produced results, the applicant might check with the agent where they originally applied – the agent could work with the state department as to what else could be done. if all else fails, the local senator or congressman’s office might be able to help.
