i’m inquiring buying drugs online without prescription about hiring an attorney’s services to attain a K1 fiance visa for someone in the Philippines. Which firm would you recommend from personal experiences and what were their rates? Who should I stay away from?

I understand that you are looking a lawyer but I would suggest to do it by yourself. Lawyer can guide you and all but I don’t think that it will assure VISA approval. After all you will still get into the same process with or without representative.
But if you really want one, the one you can trust and would get myself, here is Atty. Garfinkel’s website: http://www.gurfinkel.com/
If you need one, just let me know and I know of a lawyer friend here from the University of the Philippines. His name is Atty. Ike Rosero and his rate is reasonable enough to solve your problem.
Have a nice day and GOD BLESS!
As someone who personally went through K1 visa processing, I would advise you to just go through the process yourself and not hire an attorney anymore. The process itself is very simple, just make sure to read the instructions on the forms, fill them out properly and correctly and submit all the required documents and requirements so that your application is complete.
There is nothing that an immigration lawyer will really be able to do except check if you filled out your forms properly, collate them and submit them to the appropriate government agency. You can do all that yourself without having to pay a lot of money which you can use for other things like airfare later on or the fees which are more expensive now that the USCIS has raised prices.
We hired a lawyer but it turned out that we were more informed than them, we were even more updated on our status than they were. So they basically did almost nothing to the tune of $1,500. So please, save your money. You can get all the information you need on the USCIS and US Dept of State websites. Click on the links below for information.

I’d also be happy to help if you have any questions.
I agree with some of the previous responses. I am going through the process and I just went over and over all the details I could before submitting the initial application.
Be ready for a several month wait. There seems to be quite a backlog of others ahead of us. In my last look at the USCIS site, it looked like about 7 months from the reception of your first application before action really begins.
Contact me for sites to help you through it if you want. And good luck to the both of you!
