here is the situation…. i am a naturalized US citizen, i have a 3 year old son who was admitted to the US as refugee (before i got my citizenship)… since he was admitted to the order medicine online country as a refugee he had his I-94 stamped at the port of entry and it shows clearly that he was admitted as a refugee. because of his refugee status he can not adjust status till after 1 year of the date when he entered the US. my question is how do i get him a derivative citizenship ?? do i need to file adjustment of status first (I-485) then apply for citizenship for him or what ??? please i need very very detailed instructions on how to do it (step by step) and if an immigration attorney or a para legal at an immigration law office can answer my post i would be very grateful.
