Pretend I am a defendant, and my Buy Generic Levitra brother is a lawyer. If I am charged with some form of criminal charge, can my brother (lawyer) be my attorney? Or, is there something against allowing lawyers to represent family members in crminal cases?

I am not sure, it may be a conflict of interest…
.
No problem with that. He just can’t be the Judge.
Your lawyer can be anybody you want who has a law degree (or yourself, even without a law degree). Their is no law that prevents you from hiring a relative. It might not be the best idea though, as they may not be taking a completely unbiased look at your case, preventing him from effectively doing his job.
The other side’s lawyer cannot be related to you, nor can the Judge or any member of the jury though.
It is unwise but no law prohibits it.
