you people have a lot of nerve. my husband and i have gone through a lot not being able to conceive a child of our own. i was just asking very general questions that came to my mind. my husband and i have discussed adopting many different types of babies, I just dont think I need to share those private discussions with the world. I was a preschool teacher that has loved many different types of kids. how dare you sit in judgement of me. financially speaking, if more people planned out there finances with more thought than less people wold go hungry and rents would be paid.

I couldn’t agree more. This is something that upsets me and I try my best to avoid. One thing that gets to me is the price question. How much for this kind of baby how much for that kind of baby. It may be a legitimate question but it is offensive to some of us.
I once was told that if my daughter had all of her fingers and toes it was good because people pay more for babies without defects. I always did have and still do have a problem with that.
I’m sure your heart is in the right place but could you please be a little more sensitive to those of us that actually produce those perfect little white (or what ever your specifications are) babies. We get nothing. Your reference insinuates commodity and it is offensive. Not to mention the affects its going to have on the child. Do you intend to tell them that you special ordered them. That the only reason they got picked is because they were a white female? That if they didn’t come out of the womb with your exact specifications you would have had to say NEXT?
If I sound hostile I apologize. But if you could look at your question from one of the other sides of this triad you would understand my point. Try being the birth mother for a moment or better yet try being the white female that gets adopted.
If you are saying you specifically want to adopt a white baby girl you should consider a private adoption. You would hire your own attorney and seek out a birth mother and hope that when an ultrasound is done to determine sex it’s correct. I can understand to a small degree wanting to adopt a child of your own race but gender is getting a bit selfish. What if it’s not a girl, what will you tell that birth mother who is counting on you to adopt her child? Think about what you are doing. Adoption involves many more lives than just your own. As for the cost you can call an adoption attorney and they will do a free consultation and give you and estimate.
If you are going to adopt, and even if you are not, you need to use positive language. (I am sure others will answer your questions.)

Perhaps you don’t mean it this way, but you sound like you’re ordering up a new car. How many of this model are available? What’s the delivery time? How much will that cost? I think the fact that you included the term "serious question" suggests that you had at least some awareness that there was something unpalatable about your question.

If you need more information about adoption, I would suggest contacting a local reputable adoption agency. They will teach you the proper adoption language to use also as others have referred to.
Each state and each country has their own set of regulations and fees. An agency may have additional regulations or guidelines also so it is difficult to provide you with a good answer here.
